Isaiah 41:10-13
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
As many of you know, I lost my job a couple weeks ago. I’ve been trying to line up medical insurance & decide on my next steps &, to be perfectly honest, it’s been pretty stressful. Yesterday, I faced another round of searching for the right insurance among other necessary tasks & it had me feeling sort of down. And then… I heard that small, still voice. I got online to find the passage for today’s open post & Isaiah 41:10 was yesterday’s verse of the day! What a wonderful God we serve, that He will reach out to even me & calm my fears, ease my stress & let me know that He will help me & give me strength!
Father God,
I pray You will be with everyone who visits here today; I pray they will be blessed by the words they read; I pray they will be encouraged by the fellowship to be found here & I pray that they will spread Your truth throughout their communities.
I ask these things in the Mighty Name of Jesus,
