Today’s question: When did you first receive Christ as your Lord & Savior or when were you baptized?
I accepted Him on Christmas Day 1974, the day I was baptized in the small, country church my family had belonged to since the 1800s. I was lost for a number of years but that was still the day I knew I belonged to Him, no matter what.
Luke 9:22-25
22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Father God,
Thank You for the promise of another day. You have blessed us with so much we can never thank You enough. Your grace has covered us & given us hope for an eternity spent with You. Your love sustains us & gives us the courage to go on in these ever-changing times. You are our Strength & our Redeemer, You are all we need. Father, as we each go about our days, I pray You will walk with us, that Your steady hand will guide us. I pray for the sick, the hurting, the lost, that You will heal them, comfort them & lead them to Your side.
