by Every teacher I’ve ever asked believes when we die we go directly to God. There is scripture to support this. There is another school of thought that we sleep until the resurrection, there is also scripture that would seem to support this as well. Then there are some who say our souls will go directly to God but we won’t have a body until the resurrection.
