Esther 10
11And King Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land and upon the isles of the sea.
2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
3 For Mordecai the Jew was next unto King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and accepted by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wellbeing of his people and speaking peace to all his seed.
Good morning and Welcome.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen
As promised, here is Grampa’s Fudge Recipe:
2 cups of sugar 2 Tablespoons of butter
1 cup of milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla
3 Tablespoons of cocoa
Mix the sugar & cocoa in a medium sauce pan. Add the milk & cook until a soft ball* can be made. Place the pan in cold water, (you can use a larger pan or dish, I use the sink), add the butter & vanilla & allow to cool. (we use the “finger test” if you can dip your finger in the chocolate without getting burned, it’s cool enough) When cooled beat it until it loses it’s glossy appearance. Pour onto a lightly buttered plate or square cake pan. Let stand in the refrigerator until hard. — Lesson learned the hard way: Do NOT make a double batch!!! If you want more, make two separate batches.
*drip a small amount of chocolate into a small cup of cold water, when you can form it into a ball, it’s ready to cool
