5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

Good morning. Long night last night. If you ever want a detailed weather report go to Ryan Hall Y'all on youtube. I could not believe the amount of tornados that were hitting people all last night. From Ohio and Illinois to Arkansas. Just unreal. We were hit with severe thunderstorms and lots and lots of rain.
Watching the weather reports last night, I saw how huge that system is, very scary.
Up half the night last night just watching and had a son and grandson's who were in the path of these storms. Also relatives in Ohio who had to take shelter so yeah it was a big one.
Good morning. I'm (im)patiently waiting for my orchid to bloom. It hasn't bloomed in about a year, so I'm very excited! I received my orchid from the VP at a previous job for my part in a successful audit. Since my house is a "plant killer", I'm thankful it's still alive!

SO...put to death whatever still remains in our nature that belongs to the earth
-- sexual immorality, impurity
-- shameful passion, evil desire
-- greed which is idolatry
-- anger, rage, malice
-- slander, abusive language, lying
In this message, Paul Washer goes over some of the harsh realities that are involved in obedience to these instructions....do we have a new attitude toward and relationship with sin?
So, how can we know that this being raised with Christ is real in our lives?
He also stresses the blessed confidence and assurance that are promised and given to the obedient who give to the Lord Jesus, the honor and obedience and submission that are rightfully His.
