by Matthew 5; “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
How do we show good works on this forum so that our Father in heaven is glorified?
I was thinking about this today. I can take meals to people who are sick. I can visit those in prison, I can donate money to causes. Its easier in a sense to do good works than to show them. Then I found this verse 1 Peter 2:12; “Conduct yourselves with such honor among the Gentiles that, though they slander you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.”
We can show our good works on line by our relationships to one another. By our kindness and patience with each other.
Is our conduct honoring the Lord? Do those who are not saved come here and see our good deeds? Or do we give ammunition to those who would slander us?
