Sukkot
The Feast of Tabernacles holds many things for us. First being, it is thought that Christ was born at Tabernacles, to tabernacle with us, as our eventual tabernacle. Normally tabernacles is thought to have seven days, but there is a day at the end which is also celebrated. The eighth day will be described clearer as we go.
The eighth day is a day of celebration. It’s taught that this day, is the day that in the future will be a day of being set free from evil or the flesh, forever.
Something to be considered with Christ being born at this time, if at the beginning of the first day (evening, Shepherds in the fields at night) Then, as all new born males, He would have been circumcised on the eighth day. The day of deliverance from the flesh. If one puts creation and time in perspective, you will find, God created the week as a sign to us. six days, and a Sabbath. From Adam to Noah (2,000 years). From Noah to Jesus (2,000 years), From Christ to now (aprox. 2,000 years). If a day to the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day, then we are close the end of six days, and the Sabbath draws near (Thousand year reign of Christ) The true day of rest. At the end of that Sabbath, There will be an end of evil. The flesh shall be cut off, and we will live before the Lord, and see Him as He is, for we shall be like Him. Now, concerning the tribulation period (seven years) We shall dwell in Him, our tabernacle. Concerning the Sukkah (Tabernacle) The design holds some things to be looked at.
First, It is to have THREE EQUAL SIDES (Father, Son, Holy Ghost). The roof (covering) is to have spaces. This is so one can look up while in their surrounding Of Three, and see Heaven through their covering. Now it’s not just three equal sides, but it is three equal sides with an open face. From your tabernacle, you can see in through or out of an open face. We are all, with an open face beholding the Glory of the Lord. We can either see into the tabernacle. or while IN IT, protected by the sides, that which is before us.
